Tenisha White: Award-Winning Director, Producer, and Writer
A dynamic force in the British film and television landscape. As an active BAFTA Crew x BFI Network member, Tenisha has consistently delivered compelling content across numerous platforms.

Tenisha's directorial flair has truly come to the fore recently. She's helmed episodes for the inventive comedy series "Deep Fake Neighbour Wars" (ITVX/Tiger Aspect), a project that saw her nominated for a Royal Television Society (RTS) Midlands New Director award. Her skilled direction was also evident in the acclaimed BBC series "The Break", where she directed two episodes for BBC. A significant project she wrote, directed, and produced is the short film "Stranded." This piece gained notable recognition, sparking its current development into a feature-length film, a testament to Tenisha's creative vision. Her earlier directorial work includes the impactful short "Spite," which earned Best Film and Best Actress nominations at the Birmingham Film Festival, and the 2024 award-winning horror short "Obscurum."
Tenisha was also selected to be part of the BBC's 'Doctors' Director Programme, an initiative that led her to continue her journey in directing for television.

As a prolific producer, Tenisha's portfolio showcases a remarkable journey from content crafted directly for the BBC to larger-scale productions, including the forthcoming feature film "Gale - Yellow Brick Road." She has steered numerous projects to success, including shorts like "BBC New Creatives: Boyshapedspace," "Corrupt," and "Broken" (where she also took on executive producer duties). Demonstrating her comedic talents, Tenisha also wrote, produced, and starred in the short comedy series "Fanny." Her experience isn't confined to narrative work; she also played a key role assisting in directing content for the Commonwealth Games, proving her adaptability in diverse and high-profile production environments. She channels her creative endeavours through her own company, TENISHA WHITE FILMS LTD.
Beyond the camera, Tenisha is passionately committed to fostering new talent within the industry. She often spearheads and facilitates community-based workshops and programmes, sharing her invaluable knowledge and experience to guide emerging filmmakers on their own paths.

Tenisha's rich and varied background, which includes significant experience as an actress (with credits such as "Dragon Kingdom," "No Shade," appearances in "Doctors" and "Doctor Who," and her role in "Fanny") and as a skilled photographer, deeply informs her distinctive approach to filmmaking. This blend of disciplines underpins her highly respected reputation. With a sharp eye for detail and a natural ability to manage large teams and complex departments, Tenisha ensures that productions are delivered smoothly and successfully, thriving in the demanding, fast-paced world of film and television.
